Fèis Rois @Blas Festival

We are looking forward to a festival of some great music this year at the Blas Festival. In its 4th year Blas brings a number of outstanding acts from Ireland and Cape Breton to perform alongside the best of our local and national talent.

Fèis Rois Cèilidh Trail are looking forward to supporting Skippinish, Ian Mackay and Ishbel MacAskill at Poolewe Village Hall on Saturday September 6th and two trios - Edey ,Power and Randall and Bruce MacGregor, Anna Massie and Christine Hanson at Ullapool Village Hall on Saturday September 13th.

Additionally Fèis Rois is delivering its third Ceòlraidh Concert which will take place in Strathpeffer Pavilion on Friday September 12th. The final line-up is to be announced soon and is set to be an evening of some exciting collaborations between some of our finest young musicians and their musical inspirations. For something with an international flavour, the famous piping family, The Glenuig MacDonalds play alongside Andrea Beaton, one of Cape Breton's most promising young fiddlers and Kimberley Fraser a master of fiddling, step dancing and piano on Tuesday 9th September at Tulloch Castle.
